Alice Marie Bolton , age 94 ,died on July 2, 2011 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Richland Center on May 16, 1917, the daughter of George and Stasia (Borchardt) Fogo. She was united in marriage to Clifford Crapser on September 8, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1976. They owned and operated Crapser's Drive-In, located in Sauk City, for thirteen years. Alice was employed by the Motor Vehicle Department in Madison for 18 years. She married Henry Bolton in 1981 and he preceded her in death in 1998. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, Patrick. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn (Vic) Pape of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Judy (Bob) Boehmer of Sauk City, Connie (Ron) Alt of Greensboro, North Carolina and Cathy (Dean) Salveson, of Sauk City; daughter-in-law, Cathy Crapser of Prairie du Sac; step-sons, Wayne (Sandy) Bolton, of Prairie du Sac and Raymond (Rhonda) Bolton of Prairie du Sac; a brother, Dr. Alden (Lou) Fogo of San Luis Obispo, CA., sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City, with Father Jared Hood officiating. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Thursday July 7, 2011, at Hooverson Funeral Home , Sauk City.
