Alice May (Wirth)Gieck, passed away suddenly on February 16,2024 surrounded by family.  She was born May 18,1931 to Fred Wirth Sr. and Rosa (Stalder) in Middleton, Wi. Alice married LaVern Gieck April 7, 1956.  He passed a few days before their 66th anniversary.  She was very proud of being 100% Swiss.  She enjoyed gardening, quilting, her orchids and the many trips including, twice to Switzerland, Germany, Italy and all over the U.S. especially Alaska.

She is survived by daughters, Cindy of Tennessee and Carol of Plain, sons, Ron (Theresa) of Tennessee, and Don (Carol) of North Freedom.  She is also survived by a brother, Jim (Kathy). She leaves 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 special grandchildren, Douglas and Allison Ochsner, many family and friends.

Preceding her in death were husband LaVern, brother, Fritz, sisters, RoseAnn Kurtz and Martha Kurtz, daughters, Chris and Connie.

The family wishes to thank St. Croix Hospice, especially Cheryl.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
