Obituary

Allene M. Welsch, age 87, passed away on Wednesday , Nov. 25, 2015, on the birthday of her late husband, La Verne, at Sauk Prairie Health Care . She was born in Lodi, WI on May 22, 1928 to the late William and Helen (Mussen) Burdin. Allene was united in marriage to LaVerne Welsch on August 30, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1994.



Allene was a homemaker and the bookkeeper for the family business. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, gardening and spending time with family and friends.



She is survived by her six children; Karen (Paul) Skinner, Diane (Darrell) Endres, LuAnn (Vern Berry), Linda (Phil) Breunig, Joann (Rick) Rothmann, Joe (Kara) Welsch; ten grandchildren, Carrie Skinner, Stephanie (Jeff) Neumann, Brian (Nicole) Schlough, Ross (Courtney) Endres, Tyler (Kelly) Breunig, Kayla (Travis) Warmka, Ashley (James) Schulenburg, Cory (Amanda) Rothmann, Connor and Rayna Welsch; six great grandchildren and one on the way; Jacob Neumann, Braden Schlough, Henry Endres, Ryder and Tenley Breunig and Addison Schulenburg; sister- in- law Margaret Fuchs; family friend, Sheryl Loy and further survived by other relatives and friends.



In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister Vivian and brother- in- law Art Schwartz, brother William Burdin and granddaughter Carla Skinner.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28,2015 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 115 Madison Street, Sauk City. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015 and one hour prior to the mass at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City.



She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother (GG) who will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sauk Prairie Health Care, Sauk Prairie Ambulance or to the charity of the donor's choice.



The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. John McAuliffe and all of her caregivers for their compassionate care.
