Andrew John Fortier, age 59, passed away at his home on Fri. Sept. 29, 2017 after a valiant battle with lung cancer with his wife Robin at his side. He was born in New Jersey on Mar. 31, 1958 to the late Armand and Kathleen (Tomaro) Fortier.
Andrew married Robin Cornford-Ohlert on Aug. 26, 2006. He enjoyed the outdoors, the smell of fresh air, and had a love of the mountains in Idaho where he previously lived in Boise, Mountain Home and Salt Lake City. Andrew cheered on the Brewers, Badgers, Packers and the Boise State Bronco's Football Team. He managed the lumber department at the Lake Delton Home Depot until his recent retirement.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Robin; 2 daughters, Erica (Johnny) Newman and their 4 children, Issac, Dominic, Kyra, and Christian; Tara (Shawn Wright) Fortier; Robin's son, Christopher Welsch; siblings, Mark Fortier, Michele (Terrence) Frandsen, Mike Fortier; he is further survived by other relatives and friends.
As per Andrew's wishes a private family service will be held in Idaho.
