Ann M. Schreiber, age 96, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2009. She was born in Highland on January 28, 1913, the daughter of the late Anton and Emma (Hudek) Semrad. After graduating from Sauk City High School, Ann continued her education at Platteville State University. Following graduation she was a school teacher for many years prior to her marriage to William A. Schreiber. Mr. Schreiber passed away in 1955 and Ann remained a resident of Prairie du Sac until her death. She was a member of Concordia United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Monica Nee and Mary Smith; a brother, Robert; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Fisher; and three brothers, Alfred, Glenn and Everet Semrad

Funeral services will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City, at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2009 with Pastor Kendall Schlittler officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
