March 11, 1931 – October 15, 2018
Anna Marie Brockmann was born on March 11, 1931 and passed away, at age 87, peacefully at Agrace Hospice on Monday, October 15, 2018 due to a stroke. Anna was married to Lloyd Brockmann on August 15, 1964.
She is survived by her children, Sonya (Jon) Tourdot and Steven Brockmann. Also survived by her granddaughters, Jessica (Damian) Mimetz & their children Regan & Roman, Kara Vallo & her children David, Michael & Trinity, Gina Brockman & her daughter Sophia and Tami Brockmann & her daughter Alexis. Anna is also survived by her sister Betty Ann Stasny, her sister in-law & brother in-laws, Mary & Stan Steers, Marvin Case, Merlyn & Betty Brockman and Harland & MariEllen Brockman. Anna has several nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends!
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd on November 28, 2017, her grandson, Andrew Chenoweth on November 1, 2003, her parents Harry & Caroline Eichelkraut and her birth mother Frieda Schilt. She also had a daughter Clararanne Sue and a son Raymond Lee Wilkinson pass shortly after they were born.
During Anna's life she worked on the home farm until she married Clark Wilkinson on August 25, 1951. She worked as a housekeeper and nanny in Madison and also at Badger Ordinance Plant in Baraboo. They were divorced in March 1963.
On August 15, 1964 she married Lloyd Brockmann and she was a homemaker. She loved gardening, bowling, playing cards, casino trips, crossword puzzles, making scrap books, baking, fishing and small game hunting. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was the President of the ALCW for a few years and also taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years. Anna enjoyed lots of music from Big Band, Country Western and Hymns and loved to dance. She also was well known for making cookies and candy at Christmastime and having the coffee pot on the stove.
Visitation for friends & family will be at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI on Friday, October 19 th from 4pm-7pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 11am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marxville (Mazomanie) on Saturday, October 20 th (visitation at 10am-11am with burial & lunch following).
