Anton J. "Tony" Waldinger, age 59, passed away after a brief illness, on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born in Baraboo on July 27, 1949, the son of Anton and Frieda (Pagel) Waldinger. Tony was a lifetime farmer on the family farm in Troy Township. He is survived by his mother Frieda of Sauk City; a sister, Margaret Waldinger of Pardeeville; an aunt, Laura Lynch of North Freedom; an uncle, Paul Pagel of North Freedom; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2009 with Pastor Fred Rilling officiating. Burial will be in the Sauk City Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30AM until time of service at the funeral home on Monday.
