Arlene Louann (Gadson) Ebert, age 97, passed away May 9, 2018 at the Pines Assisted Living in Prairie du Sac. She was born July 13, 1920 in Richfield Township near Marshfield. Arlene graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1938 and attended Wood County Normal School. She was united in marriage to Clarence Ebert July 22, 1939. They celebrated their 65 ^th Wedding Anniversary before his death on August 20, 2004. Arlene worked in St. Joseph's Hospital Emergency Room prior to 35 years at the Marshfield Clinic Hematology Lab; retiring in 1984. She and Clarence enjoyed traveling as well as caring for their home and beautiful flowers. Arlene was an accomplished artist from an early age and enjoyed painting with oils, acrylics, and water colors well into her 90's. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and its Pricilla Circle as well as the Piece Makers quilting group. She belonged to the Marshfield Business and Professional Women's Club, the Home and Garden Club, and the Red Hats.

Arlene is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Norman) Wein of Wisconsin Rapids and Diane (Fred) Kamps of Prairie du Sac; grandsons, Mark (Clare) Wein, David (Linda) Wein; great grandsons, Zac (Olivia) Wein, Spencer and Andrew Wein; and great-great grandsons, Jasper, Remington, and Sawyer Wein; her sister, Norita (Robert) Johnson. She is further survived by other friends and relatives.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on May 18, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church, 207 S.Cherry St., Marshfield. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
