A Celebration of Life for Arline J Carpenter will be held from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Dorf Haus, 8931 County Road Y, Roxbury WI.

Arline Janet Carpenter, age 97, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2024, at home. She was born August 24, 1926, the daughter of Orville and Agnes (Bartnick) Bills. Arline was United in marriage to George S Carpenter on December 30, 1944.

She is survived by five children, Peggy Maier, Roger (Deanna) Carpenter, Randy (Kathy) Carpenter, Gayle (Paul) Vosen and Amy Carpenter.

Eleven grandchildren, Brent (Kelly) Maier, Dana (John) Gee, Wyatt Carpenter, Emily (David) Wiedmeyer, Beth (Neil) Blau, Owen (Lexi) Carpenter, Shawn (Tiffany) Schell, Cassandra Carpenter, Samantha (Ryan) Huelsing, Jeremy Vosen, and Stephanie Steinhoff. Twenty-two Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great granddaughter, brother LeRoy (Sheila) Bills and sister Patricia (Robert) Weaver.

Arline was preceded in death by her husband, George, son, Neal and infant son, George Jr, brothers, Harold (Claudine) Bills, Robert (Marty) Bills, Orville (Billy) Bills and sister, Mary (LaVerne) Greiber.

Arline worked for the Sauk Prairie School District for 35 years at Black Hawk and Spruce Street Elementary Schools. She owned Liberty Tax Service preparing taxes & bookkeeping for several clients. Her and George enjoyed years of traveling to many states and following the NASCAR Circuit.
