Audrey J. Bringle, age 79, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth from complications of dementia. She was born June 12, 1933 in Prairie du Sac, the daughter of the late Alfred and Myrtle Zick. Following graduation from Prairie du Sac High School, she worked for American Family Insurance until marrying Paul F. Bringle on August 25, 1956. They were married at St. John's Lutheran Church by the father of the groom, Pastor A.J. Bringle. Audrey later worked part-time at Grand Avenue school and for about twenty years at St. John's Lutheran Church as a secretary after her daughter started school. She was a proud and loving wife, mother and grandmother.


Survivors include her husband, Paul; a daughter, Kristi (Ken) Roth; two grandchildren, Zach and Kasi; two special cousins, Betty (Dale) Page and Verna Wenzel; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters-in-law, Irene (Don) Hill and Thelma (Chuck) Hughes; and a brother-in-law, John Bringle.


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 Oak St., Prairie du Sac. Burial will follow in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the church.


In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the church or Riverside Bible Camp.
