Beatrice Mae (Runk) Keith, age 91, died Saturday February 6, 2010 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Boaz, WI on January 19, 1919 the Daughter of Carl and Martha (Sutton) Buttke. She was united in marriage to Ralph Runk and he preceded her in death in 1977. She later married Henry Keith and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was employed by the Mazomanie Poultry House for several years and by Grabers for over 30 years. Beatrice enjoyed playing cards with friends , loved to fish, and had been an Avon rep for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph (Joan) Runk and Roger (Diane) Runk; three daughters, Charlotte Detra, Shelbie (Harry Anderson) Flamme, and Sharon Jansen; a son-in-law, John "Bill" Fincher; two step-sons, Alfred (Shirley) Keith and Kenneth Keith; two step-daughters, Mary Dean (Vernon) Lundquist and Kathleen Heckendorf; a brother, Carl Dorothy) Buttke; a sister, Ann Mills; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirlee Fincher; a grandson, Mitchell Runk; two sons-in-law, John Flamme and James Jansen; five brothers, Lee, Everett, Floyd, Ernest and Robert Buttke; and a sister, Mabel Kenitzer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday , February 11, 2010 at New Heights Lutheran Church, Black Earth. Burial will be in the Mazomanie Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday February 10, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hooverson Funeral Home, Mazomanie.
