Obituary
Bernice V. Yanke, age 93, died Friday , November 14, 2008 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Sauk County on July 22, 1915 the daughter of the late Arnold and Anna (Christianson) Gelhaus. She was united in marriage to Milton Yanke in 1933. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1976. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leland and the Homemakers Club.
Survived by 5 children: Russell (Jeanette) Yanke of Loganville,
Donna (Ralph) Soeldner of Plain,
Gloria (Ed) Meyer of North Freedom,
Darleen (Niel) Rischmueller of North Freedom,
Sharon (Phil) Schuman of Janesville.

In addition to her parents and Husband she was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Joyce White in 2005, 1 Grandchild, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Leland, with Pastor Peter Heide and Pastor Sally Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, November 17, 2008 from 6:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m at the Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City. Memorials to the church are preferred.
