IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bonnie Maria
Trainor
July 22, 1955 – October 24, 2022
Bonnie Maria Trainor, age 67, passed away peacefully at Agrace Hospice in Madison on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022. She was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Dodgeville on July 22, 1955 to Russell and Joann (Schmitz) Trainor. Bonnie attended Edgewood High School graduating in the class of 1973. She later worked for Strand and Associates for nearly 15 years. After the death of her father, she followed her passion for helping others and obtained her CNA certificate. She worked for Agrace Hospice until she retired in 2016. At Agrace she set the standard in care; training many future RN's and CNA's. Bonnie could connect with anyone, finding a common interest; she lit up the room whenever she walked in. Bonnie had a love of horses, doing the outside chores, helping John mowing lawn and cutting wood, and looked forward to Friday nights with a fish fry and a brandy old fashioned sweet. The yearly Barnyard Bash will not be the same without her; she will be remembered for her many crazy socks, her costumes, and her outgoing spirit.
Bonnie leaves behind the love of her life, John Heintz and his daughter, JoAnn (Chris) Geiger and their children, Chase and Griffin; her mother, Joann Trainor; siblings, Connie Andersen, Mary Trainor, Lavon (Michael) McFadden, Rock (Jean) Trainor, Mark (Lynn) Trainor, David (Lisa) Trainor, sister in-law, Maria Trainor; nieces and nephews, Jill and Paul Andersen, Beckie Trainor, Keva and Kailani Trainor, Dominic, Damien, Rachel, Pauline, Ben, Billie Jo, Ryland, Brody, Aiden, and Olivia Trainor; great nieces and nephews, Sadie Linas, Mina and Xavier Estrada, Gabriel Andersen and Orrin Anderson. Bonnie is further survived by other relatives and friends especially her cousin Jennifer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell and brother, Randy.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm where Bonnie's family will share memories at 6:30 pm.
Bonnie's family will be forever grateful to the caregivers at Agrace Hospice for their wonderful care; Sam Lubner M.D. and Jenna N.P. at U.W. Carbone Cancer Center; the many family that came together as a team to support Bonnie, and to her friends for their thoughts and prayers.
