IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brett R.
Dibble
April 2, 1988 – March 11, 2026
Brett R. Dibble, age 37, passed away on March 11, 2026. He was born on April 2, 1988, in New Port Richey, Florida, to Susan Johnson and Jon Dibble. Brett grew up in Sun Prairie and graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 2007. He enjoyed playing hockey and had a special love for the game. During the Olympics this year, Brett was glued to the TV cheering on the Men's and Women's games. He loved being outdoors, especially boating and camping. He also found joy in simple moments shared with others.
Brett had a playful spirit and was known for being a prankster. He loved playing jokes on people and bringing laughter to those around him. He had a special place in his heart for children, and kids naturally gravitated toward him. Brett also enjoyed spending time with friends and made lasting connections with those around him. He had a special gift for also making new friends wherever he would go.
Brett spent much of his working life in the Wisconsin Dells in the hospitality industry. He also worked at the Prairie du Sac Post Office, where he appreciated his coworkers and the friendships he built there.
Brett is survived by his mother, Sue (Ken Niesen) Line; his father, Jon Dibble; his half-brother, Riley Dibble; Ken's son, Dustin (Riley Freehauf) Niesen; and his paternal grandmother, Donna Dibble. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Nick Johnson and Linda Geisinger; his great-grandmother, Norma "Other One Grandma" Campbell; his paternal grandfather, Robert "Bob" Dibble; and his "chosen grandmother," Dorothy Mueller.
Brett's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many people whose lives he touched and to the friends and individuals who supported him along the way.
A celebration of Brett's life will be held at a later date.
