Brian R. Rix, age 58 passed away unexpectedly 12/31/2024 at St Lukes - Milwaukee with pancreatic complications. He was born on 6/27/1966 in Sauk City, the son of Robert and Mary (Slowey) Rix. Brian attended Sauk Prairie High School and graduated in 1984. Brian was a U.S. Veteran having served in the U.S. Army after high school and was a Military Police officer, inspiring his love of history.

Brian enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with hobbies such as duck & goose hunting, camping, and exploring nature. He also enjoyed various sports such as Nascar racing and baseball, even playing baseball/softball when younger. Brian also was an avid lover of classic rock and always surrounded himself with music.

Survived by his daughters, Victoria (Josh) Williams, Cassandra (Ryan Dagen) Rix; his parents, Robert & Mary Rix; his siblings, Daniel Rix & Lisa (Mark) Veitch; his nephews, Jacob & Mason Rix; his aunts & uncles, Robyn (Gary) Walvrood, Cliff Mountford & Joanne (Lyle) Neesam.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dayle & Eleanora Rix, Phillip 'Bud' & Della Slowey; his aunt & uncles, Rita Mountford, Donald & Joanne Slowey, Marilyn & Bill Nessler; and his dog, Moose.

Celebration of Life will be held privately at a later date.
