Brian Flynn Unmuth, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 5, 2014. He was born June 16, 1955 in Oshkosh to Pat and Lois (Petri) Unmuth. Brian was kind and generous by nature; a prankster and joker. He enjoyed playing guitar; loved music, scuba diving, astronomy and science. He had a passion for politics and wore his democracy on his sleeve. Brian was a Machinist at Milwaukee Valve in Prairie du Sac for the last 12 years. On July 26, 2014 he married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Janice Marie Blumenstein.

In addition to his wife, Jan; he is survived by his parents, Pat and Lois Unmuth; siblings, Dan Unmuth, Jean (Mike) Wipperfurth, Kelly (Stephanie) Unmuth; a stepson, Fred (Dakota) Smith; a stepdaughter, Amber Smith; grandchildren, Silver, Bianca, Chase and Kora; 2 nephews, Adam and Kelly; niece Kimber; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother Sean Unmuth and stepson Zack Smith.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
