Brian W. Zins, 59, passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at his home. He was born on June 26, 1964, in Prairie du Sac, the son of Verlyn and Mary (Harrop) Zins. Brian attended Sauk Prairie High School and graduated in 1982. He enjoyed wrestling, showing cattle, FFA, and 4H in High School. Brian enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Augustine "Augie" along with his beloved cat, Kiddle. He also enjoyed all things with golf and chess.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Augie, mother, Mary, brother, David (Pamala) and their children, Joshua, Anna, Sarah and Daniel;

sister, Janet (Phil) Rudig, and their children, Melissa, Michelle, Matt and very special great niece, Reyna; cousin, Nancy (Gary) Liegel and long-time best friend, Rick Lipka.

He was preceded in death by his father, Verlyn; grandparents, Clarence and Mabel Zins; Clayton and Isabelle Harrop; uncle, David Harrop; aunt and uncle, Glen and Adeline Kamrath; and cousin, Philip Kamrath.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am February 1,2024 at Concordia United Methodist Church, Prairie du Sac, WI with Pastor Kook Ho Kim officiating. Live Stream at

A visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of the service at the church.

A private burial will be held at a later date. Lunch will follow the service.
