Bridget Ann Lawton

Bridget Ann Lawton, age 21, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sept. 10, 2026 following her courageous battle with Leukemia. Bridget was born on June 3, 2005 and grew up in the Sun Prairie and Sauk Prairie communities. She graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 2023 and was enrolled as a student at Madison College.

Bridget loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid card and board game player and would never turn down the chance to play hearts against whoever dared to take her on. Bridget was also an enthusiastic softball player and loved everything from games to just going to the park with her family to hit some dingers. Bridget also enjoyed reading and was a huge fan of Dancing with the Stars.

Bridget is survived by her parents Michael and Tonya Lawton, sister Lexi Lawton, longtime boyfriend Riley Haas, her beloved dog Pacha, her grandparents Jim and Dianne Lawton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who all loved her dearly. Bridget was preceded in death by her grandparents, Keith and Gretchen Sprecher.

Bridget’s family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the nurses and doctors at St Mary’s Hospital and the UW Hospital’s Carbone Cancer Center. Your grace and kindness for Bridget will never be forgotten.

Bridget’s family will be holding a celebration of life for Bridget on a future date.
