Carla Ann Wachter

A Celebration of Carla’s Life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11:30 until 4:00 pm at Lachmund Cramer VFW Post 7694 outdoor pavilion located at 700 VFW Drive, Prairie du Sac.

Carla Ann Wachter, age 63, died at her home in Cross Plains on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2025 after a valiant battle with breast cancer She was born Nov. 30, 1962 to the late Carl and Bernice (Bingham) Anstice. She grew up in Mazomanie and attended Wisconsin Heights schools. She was formerly employed by Delaney's of Bluffview, Lands’ End in Cross Plains and the Straightforward Call Center in Sauk City until she was no longer able to work.

She enjoyed crafting and making jewelry, liked to crochet and sew, enjoyed riding her bicycle, loved her dogs, Duke and Susie.

Carla will be missed by her longtime boyfriend, Pat Schoepp; her children, Todd, Tristan, and Meghan; a granddaughter, Riverlyn; and her sister, Darla.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Sheri Rafferty, Jim Wilson and Leon Wilson.
