Carolyn K. (Hinkle) Pletzer, age 68, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City, following a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Carolyn faced many challenges in her life with a strong spirit for living. She loved country music, and singing and dancing with her friends in Sauk City.

She is survived by her children, Zenneta Syvertson, Donnie Syvertson and Donna (Vurnell) McClain. She is also survived by her sisters, Wanda (Rodney) Littel, Betty Krause and her brother George Hinkle, many nieces, nephews other relatives and longtime friend and guardian, Dwight Pulsfus.

A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City with Dwight Pulsfus officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine River Cemetery, Richland Center. A visitation will be held for a half an hour prior to the service.
