Cecilia M. Endres, age 91, died October 4, 2013 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born on January 19, 1922 in the Town of Dane, the daughter of the late Louis and Mathilda (Kurth) Miller, the last surviving child of eight. She was united in marriage to Albert J. Endres on May 2, 1944. The couple farmed in the Town of Springfield for many years. She was a member of St. Martin's and St. Aloysius Council of Catholic Women and Springfield Homemakers Club, and also volunteered at Sauk Prairie St. Vincent DePaul.



She is survived by nine children, Ken (Laurie), Vern (Linda), Dottie (Vern) Maly, Mary (John) Schmit, Betty Breunig, Ron (Sherri), Colleen Endres, Ruth (Jeff) Hellenbrand and Jackie (Bob) Bascom; 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and one yet to be born; sister-in-law, Pat Miller; other relatives and friends.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; and seven siblings, Marie (Louis) Rauls, Al (Margaret), Catherine (Clarence) Kuehn, Agnes (Arthur) Fleming, Bill (Marilyn), Marcella (Fuzzy) Fassbender and Dorothy (William) Meinholz.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Sauk City, at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 with Father John Blewett officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery. Friends may call at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 and also on Wednesday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.


Memorials may be given to St. Vincent DePaul, St. Coletta's or Sauk Prairie Against Hunger.
