Charles "Chuck" M. Pohlman

Charles M. “Chuck” Pohlman age 84, passed away May 24, 2026 at William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital, Madison. He was born on July 29, 1941 in Madison, to the late Carlyle M. and Grace (Radloff) Pohlman. Chuck graduated from Cambridge High School, class of 1959. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Bay of Pigs, Cuba and Vietnam Crisis, until he was discharged in 1965. After his military service, he was employed as an accountant and in sales and management positions.

Chuck dedicated many years of work and pleasure in the fishing industry. He wrote many educational articles for newspapers and magazines. He was a fishing guide and enjoyed fishing Walleye, Bass and Musky tournaments.

Chuck was a member of VFW Lachmund-Cramer Post 7694 Sauk Prairie and American Legion Post 167.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra and her two sons, John Gieck and Craig (Vicki Wautlet) Gieck: his in-laws, Darlene (Dan) Hetzel, Dennis (Panda) Reuter, Brian (Patti) Reuter.

A private funeral with Military Honors was performed with interment in the St. Aloysius Cemetery.
