Charles "Chuck" W. Holl, age 72, died unexpectedly Friday , June 26, 2009 , at St. Mary's Hospital , Madison. He was born on May 27, 1937 in Milwaukee, the son of Charles M. and Helen (Scoville) Holl. Following graduation from Sheboygan Central High School , he enlisted in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged on November 19, 1959. He was accepted into the WI State Patrol in 1968 and retired on April 30, 1990. Chuck had served on the Sauk Prairie school board for many years, was a Sauk City Village Board Member and was currently serving the Sauk City Planning Commission. He enjoyed being involved with Cub Scouts and was a Cub Scout Leader for many years . He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

5 Grandchildren: Christopher, Brian, Jennifer Kim, Jared and Brendan Holl.
3 Great grandchildren : Jamie, Ethan and Christopher Kim.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday July 3, 2009, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church.
