Charlie E. Campbell, age 97, died March 14, 2014 at his home. He was born on August 27, 1916, in Lynxville, WI the son of Fred and Josie (Tiechenor) Campbell.  He was a U.S. Veteran having served in the Army during WWII. Charlie was united in marriage to Marjorie Burton on Valentines Day 1942.

Survivors include his children, Millie (Gary) Lang,Frederick (Anna), Richard (Dianne), Donna (John) Breunig, Dwayne (Connie), Bob (Marcia), Wanda (Brad) Heard, Norm (Joan), Cindy (Rich) Ringgenberg, Orve, Jerry, Patty (Terry) Herbrand, Dennis, Mark, Sue (Mike) Purcell;

1 sister, Elaine Cook; 1 sister in law, Mary Helen Campbell; 32 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, an infant daughter Beverly, a grandson John Breunig Jr. , 8 brothers and sisters.

A Funeral service will be held at Sauk Prairie  Evangelical  Free Church, Prairie du Sac, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 19, 2014 with Pastor Dwight Pulsfus officiating.  A visitation will be held  from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at the church and also on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m until the time of the service at the church.
