Christopher Lee Ramsey, age 19, passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 at U.W. Hospital, Madison. He was born in Prairie du Sac on March 16, 1990, the son of Melvin and Janet (McKeegan) Ramsey. Christopher was a 2008 graduate of Sauk Prairie High School. He was an avid swimmer beginning with the Poolsharks for 3 years, the Mazomanie Baracudas for 8 years and the SPHS swim team. He competed in state competition during his sophomore and junior years. He was a loving, generous person.

He is survived by his parents, Melvin and Janet Ramsey; a brother, Jason "JJ"; two sisters, Brooke and Melanie; a half-brother, Peter Good; maternal grandparents, George and Jackie McKeegan; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Abe and Elaine Ramsey; and a cousin, Ariel McKeegan.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City. Friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
