Obituary
Chrystal B. Wawrock, age 93, of Leland, passed away on March 15, 2018 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. Chrystal dedicated her life caring for others. She was a personal caregiver, for her parents, husband, daughter and countless residents at Maplewood nursing home. Always caring without complaint and with a smile on her face. Chrystal was a wonderful cook. Her holiday meals and Christmas cookie assortment will never be matched.
She was employed as a bookkeeper at Mielke Egg and Produce, was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leland, and was the first female treasurer of the church council. She was employed by Maplewood of Sauk Prairie for 27 years.
Chrystal is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Ron) Jaedike; a sister, Donna Ketelboeter; grandsons, Jeff (Jaclyn) Jaedike and Jason (Elisha) Jaedike; great grandchildren, Madelyn, Thomas and Landen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, parents Walter and Florence (Garske) Korb, and a daughter, Rhonda.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am, April 28, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Leland. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:30 am until the time of the service.
