Clara M. Krueger, age 95, died peacefully on Sunday morning, July 28, 2013 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born on the home farm in the Town of Big Creek, the daughter of the late Herman and Anna (Procknow) Lucht. She was united in marriege to Cecil R. Krueger on November 20, 1940. Clara was a homemaker all of her life. She loved gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family.


She is survived by a son, Robert (Marcella) of Algoma; a daughter, Rosalyn of Fort Meyers, FL; three grandchildren, Patrick (Heidi) Krueger, Rebecca Dohlmeyer and Richard Krueger; a great-grandson, David Dohlmeyer; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger; and ten brothers and sisters.


Funeral services will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Friends may call at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 and also on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Burial will be in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery.
