Clarice M. Fleharty, age 93, passed away on Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 in Milwaukee. She was born in Mazomanie Township on August 29, 1916, the daughter of the late Clarence A. and Alice (Birch) Mathewson. She graduated from Mazomanie High School in 1934. She was united in marriage to Arthur Fleharty on October 23, 1971. He preceded her in death in May 1973. Clarice worked as a church secretary in Milwaukee and lived there for most of her working life.

She is survived by two sisters, Gladys Kennedy and Maxine Cairns; a sister-in-law, Alice Mathewson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Clarence "Buzzy" Mathewson, Edith Leppla, and Mildred Tollefson.

Funeral services will be held at UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, Mazomanie, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 with Pastor Larry Pierce officiating. Burial will be in the Mazomanie Cemetery.
