Clifford Percy Johnson Jr., Col. USAF Ret., age 67, died on Friday, February 27, 2009. He was born in Denver, CO on June 19, 1941, the son of Clifford Percy and Adeline A. (Brownrigg) Johnson Sr. Clifford retired from Cook County (Illinois) Sheriff's Police Department in 1994 after a distinguished 30 year career as a police officer and a criminal investigator with the State's Attorney's Office and retired as a Colonel after 43 years of service with the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. He was the founder of the Colsac Civil Air Patrol Squadron and a member of Lachmund-Cramer V.F.W. Post 7694, Kuoni-Reuter American Legion Post 167, and Sauk Prairie Masonic Lodge #113. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; and his mother, Adeline Senff, both of Prairie du Sac. Funeral services will be held at SAUK PRAIRIE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 1375 Lincoln Ave., Prairie du Sac, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009 with Pastor Dwight Pulsfus officiating. Burial with military rites, will be at 2:00 p.m. in Kingston Cemetery, Merrimac township.
