Connie Kay Sawyer

Connie K. Sawyer, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home on June 27, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 28, 1945, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, to the late Ross E. Weaver and Arloween (Garvey) Weaver.

Connie grew up in the Darlington area and attended local schools, graduating with the Class of 1964. She married the love of her life, Thomas Sawyer, on January 28, 1978. Together they built a beautiful life and celebrated 48 years of marriage earlier this year.

Connie was devoted to her family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She turned her caring nature into a successful cleaning business, serving families throughout the surrounding area for many years until her retirement. She had a passion for life and found great joy in caring for others. Above all, she treasured time spent with her children and especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Sawyer; her children, Mark (Kristin) Sawyer and Mindy Sawyer; her cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Gavin, and Kenzie Sawyer; and her brothers, Dave Weaver and Gary Weaver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross E. and Arloween Weaver, and her sister, Jean Ann Sysco.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Graceway Church, 65 13th Steet Prairie du Sac, WI 53578. A visitation will be held from 9am until the time of the service. Burial will take place in the Garden Bluff Cemetery.
