Obituary

Constance (Connie) Walker Adler passed away peacefully on Sunday October 23rd, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born on June 28th,1942, to Wilbur and Eileen Walker. She attended Mazomanie High School and Mazomanie remained her lifetime home. Connie married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Adler, on August 5th, 1958. She enjoyed being a stay at home Mom to their eight children.

Connie was an incredibly loving Mom and Grandma, and a favorite Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She taught, by example, to be kind, caring, and accepting of others. When her children were young, one of Connie's favorite things to do was play the piano while they danced around. She passed on her love of music and reading, she spent endless hours playing board games with her grandchildren, and enjoyed beating her sisters in Scrabble. Through the years her extended family enjoyed large gatherings, especially Thanksgiving, and have wonderful memories of fun times at Connie and Ron's farm. All who came in contact with Connie loved her immediately and always came away from a visit or phone call feeling completely loved and encouraged.

Connie is survived by her husband, Ron; her children, Angie (Bill) Smith, Amy McMillion, Wil (Gail) Adler, Rosalie (Kevin) Steiner, Dan (Sue) Adler, and Ron (Debbie) Adler; her grandchildren, Rich, Dusty (Kate), Jordan, Logan, Jessica, Anna, Leah, Jeremy (Katie), Sean, and Renee'; her special step-grandchildren, Breanna and Austin; and two great-grandchildren, Skyla and Levi. She is also survived by her sisters, Sharon, Monica (Larry), Margie (Jim), Paulette (Ron), Betsy, and Patty (Loren); her brother Tony (JoDee); her sisters-in-law Beverly (Don), Joyce (Phil), and Patti; her brother-in-law Larry (Tammy); and many nieces and nephews.

Connie was looking forward to seeing her sons, David and Benny, and her special sister-in-law, Jackie, who preceded her in death.
The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to Dr. Janelle Hupp, the staff at Agrace HospiceCare, and Gina with UW Health Palliative Care.

A private family celebration of Connie's life will be held at a later date.
