Daniel R. Bockhop, age 61, passed away May 10th, 2016 at UW Hospital, Madison surrounded by family.

Dan was born in Madison, WI on June 21, 1954 to the late Wilbert and Grace (Eustice) Bockhop. He graduated from Belmont High School and married Kathy (Bartnick) Bockhop on June 4, 1988.
Among Dan's many interests were truck driving and Goldwing riding, camping with family and friends, telling stories by the fire, making his wine to share with others, supporting his Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Madison Mallards, woodworking and helping his family and friends.

His caring heart and sarcastic wit will be greatly missed by those he is survived by. His wife Kathy, two daughters Jennifer Stark and Stephanie Bockhop (Travis Zeman), son Scott (Sarah) Bockhop, grandchildren, Mercedes, Tyler, Shayna and Silas, brothers Ron (Maggie) Bockhop, Wayne (Eldeen) Bockhop, sisters Karen (Roger) Nodorft, Gayle (Dan) Speth, sister-in-laws Carol (Clifford)Bockhop, Nancy (Gary) Bockhop, Suzanne (Enrique) Ramirez, Patti (Ray) Keichinger, brother-in-laws David (Bonnie) Bartnick, Greg (Erin) Bartnick, parent-in-laws Don and Judy Bartnick, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dan is preceded in his death by his parents, brothers Clifford, Mark and Gary Bockhop, and sister Beverly Lapp.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 3 pm at RIVER HILLS CHURCH in Sauk City, WI. Pastor Dennis Virta will officiate. Visitation prior to the service from 12-3pm.

To honor Dan's wishes attire for the day will be Packer and Badger apparel.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dan Bockhop Memorial Fund in care of Kathy Bockhop.
