Daniel "Dan" E. Wolter

Daniel "Dan" E. Wolter, age 71, passed away October 3, 2026, st Sauk Prairie Heathcare. He was born on December 24, 1954, in Madison, WI the son of the late Everett and Alice (Hanson) Wolter. Dan attended Sauk Prairie schools, graduating in the class pf 1973. He was united in marriage to Sheri Nielsen on April 9, 1976, at St. Aloysius Church, Sauk City. Dan was employed by Fiskars for 12 years and later delivered for Weaver Auto Parts.

Dan enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycles, working in his shop and NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri, sister, Patricia (Patrick) Scullion, mother-in-law, Ramona Bahr, sister-in-law, Veronica (Lonnie) Richardson, extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI, Burial will follow in the Sauk City Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1pm until the time of service.
