Obituary

Daniel "Danny" G. Adler, age 60, of Barneveld passed away unexpectedly at his rural home on Friday, September 12, 2025, just two days before his 61st birthday. He was born at the Sauk Prairie Hospital on September 14, 1964, to Ronald and Connie (Walker)Adler. He attended and graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School. After many years working in construction, Danny enjoyed doing woodworking at Walnut Hollow in Dodgeville until the company closed earlier this year.

Danny was united in marriage to Susan "Sue" M. Stuckey at Brigham Park in the summer of 2002. He loved being outside in nature. Whether it was riding his gator on the wooded trails he had made surrounding his home, fishing, or working with his pigeons, he was happiest when outdoors. Since childhood Danny loved studying, raising, and breeding his beloved flocks of pigeons. Over the years, he and his brothers enjoyed doing many construction and home improvement projects together. Danny also found great joy meeting weekly with his Tuesday Soup Club friends in Hyde.

Danny was a deep thinker and loved observing how the universe worked. He was also quite opinionated, but never forced his opinions on anyone. His quirky sense of humor made everyone love him.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; his Dad, Ron; his siblings, Angie (Bill) Smith, Amy McMillion, Wil (Gail) Adler, Rosalie (Kevin) Steiner, and Ron (Deb) Adler. Danny will be greatly missed by his many, much loved, nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Connie; and two brothers, Benny and David.

A private family service will be held.
