Obituary
Darlene Marion Newsome passed away peacefully in her home after a long illness, on March 4, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Marion Colstad, and her husband, Charles Newsome.
Darlene is survived by her three children, Laura Newsome of Tucson, Shirley Parks of Spring Green and Brett Newsome of Baraboo; and two brothers, Jerry Colstad of Poynette and Tom (Joan) Colstad of Prairie du Sac. Darlene has six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who she loved very much; also, four sisters-in-law, Frances (Wade Wheeler), Loretta (Maurice) Hastey, Bettie Newsome and Gail, all of Plainview and Lubbock, Texas; and a brother-in-law, Justin of Washington
A celebration of her life will be held at the HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME,
251 Water St., Sauk City on Friday, March 31, 2017. Family and friends may call from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
