Darrell Alan Ladd, age 70, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Veterans Hospital in Tomah. He was born in Siren, WI on October 12, 1939 to the late Charles and Loretta Ladd. Darrell proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He farmed for many years and later worked at Oscar Mayer in Madison and then started his own construction business, L&L Construction, retiring in 2000.


He is survived by his children, David (Olivia) Ladd of Eden Prairie, MN, Debbie (Michael) Pond of Beloit and Donna Ladd of Cross Plains; a grandson, Marvin; many brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends.


A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 6:00 pm at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy 14 West, Mazomanie. Brother Ben Johnston will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 pm until time of service. A private interment will be held at the Mazomanie Cemetery.
