Dean Robert Haas, age 56, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born in Baraboo in 1954. Dean married Rita Nachreiner on August 12, 1978. He worked at Oscar Mayer for 37 years. Dean enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved music. He enjoyed good times with friends and family surrounding the picnic table in his driveway. Family was the most important thing to Dean, and he was especially proud of his son Aaron, and his service in the U.S. Army.

Dean is survived by his rock and the love of his life; Rita, Sauk City.

Son; Aaron, Savannah, GA.

His dad; Monroe, Sauk City.

Siblings; Nancy (Richard) Skalitzky, Tempe, AZ.
David (Viktoria) Haas, Prairie du Sac. Mark (Kim) Haas, Sauk City.
Mike Haas, Sauk City.

His in-laws; Lester (Donna) Nachreiner, Sauk City.

Brother in-law; John (Dawn) Nachreiner, Sauk City.
Sisters in-law; Brenda Nachreiner, Baraboo and Barb Anderson, Sauk City.

Nieces and nephews; Kimberly, Rick, Dave, Terry, Derek, Nikki, Riley, Jessica, and Michelle. A special pet bird Petey. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lorranie, and a special nephew LCPL. Nicholas Anderson and special pets, Dill, Louie and Rudy.

As per Deans wishes, a private family service will be held.

Dean, although it's hard for us to understand why the Lord took you so soon; it's easy to understand how blessed we were to have you as a husband, dad, son, brother and friend. You are forever in our hearts. We love you so much!
