Deanna "Dede" Rose Tanneberg age 68 died Saturday June 7, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Ashland, WI.She was born on May 19, 1940 in Wonewoc, WI, the daughter of the late Albert and Emily (Haugh) Retzlaff. She was united in marriage to William Tanneberg on July 13, 1966. Deanna resided in North Freedom for many years. She enjoyed writing, for area newspapers, on local events a happenings in the Town of Sumpter.Deanna was employed as a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed Blacksmithing events , hunting, and loved her family ,friends, and her service dog "Rosie", and the times they spent together. Deanna loved performing her clown ministry, along with her husband William, at many church services and other events. She also was involved in theater,as a Director and played many parts in plays at the River Arts Center. She was a member of the Baraboo Theatre Guild and the Riverside Players in the Sauk Prairie area.

Christine (Ken) Dietrich of Ashland
2 Grandchildren: Duane and Maryanne Dietrich of Ashland.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a. m. on Friday June 13, 2008 at the Sauk Prairie Evangelical Free Church, Prairie du Sac, WI, with Pastor Dwight Pulsfus and Pastor David Bauman officiating. Burial will follow in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery.Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
