Debra Ann Buchs, age 51, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, January 23, 2014. She was born in Edgerton on April 14, 1962 to Jim and Juanita (Anderson) Burdick. Deb married Wayne Buchs on April 15, 1978. She worked as a C.M.A. and enjoyed caring for others. Deb loved to cook, bird watching and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne; 4 children, Shana (Todd Baker) Buchs, Sauk City, Kia (Jeremy Kutz) Buchs, Arena, Carissa (Joe Gennrich) Buchs, Watertown, Cody (Kelly Olson) Buchs, Stoughton; 4 grandchildren, Riley, Brayden, Brooklyn, and Caidyn; her father, Jim (Karen) Burdick; brother, Randy Burdick; sister in-law, Debra Rusinko; a special friend Jackie Bach; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Juanita Burdick and a grandson Isaiah Gennrich.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service.
