Delores Staff, of Sauk City, died on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Silverado Memory Care in Brookfield.  She was 82.  She was born on August 7, 1936 in Pigeon Falls.  She was a graduate of Whitehall Senior High School.  She married James Staff on June 15, 1957, and together they had sons Bradley (Sally) and David (Rita).

Music was a big part of Delores' life.  She was an organist at Peace Lutheran Church in Pigeon Falls, taught piano at home, taught music at Saint Aloysius Catholic School in Sauk City, and directed musical groups at St. John's Lutheran Church in Prairie du Sac  She loved playing piano duets with her grandchildren.  Delores and her husband Jim owned and operated the Sauk Prairie Canoe Rental for many years.  She took great delight in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Delores is survived by her sons, her grandchildren, Katherine (Alan), James, Madeline, Emily, Michael, Matthew, Joseph, Abigail, and Olivia, her great-grandchildren, Stella and James; her brothers Donald (Evelyn) and Loren (Nedra), and her sister, Kathleen (Tom).

Delores was predeceased by her husband James, her parents Palmer and Agnes Hanson, and her sister Marilyn Hutchins.

A memorial service will be held on January 18, 2019 at 11am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Prairie du Sac, with a luncheon following.  Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
