Denise "Dee" Patsy Haley, age 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023 after a nearly 50 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  She was born in Chicago, Il on June 28, 1955 to the late Patsy and Millicent (Kissane) Barassi.  She was united in marriage to Ben L. Haley on June 25, 1972.

Dee and Ben lived in the far north east; Lubec, Maine as the caretakers for an estate for nearly near 9 years.  It was there where Denise enjoyed her happiest and healthiest days and the birth of her two daughters, Brynn and Katlyn.  Eventually they moved to Sauk Prairie to be closer to family and raise their girls. She enjoyed baking and cooking, old films, watching movies with her girls, playing games with her family, tending her flowers and her love of animals.

Dee is survived by her husband, Ben; daughters, Brynn Haley (Josh Gavin) and Katlyn (Tina) Haley; her brother, Ronald and brother in-law, Ken Lyle.  She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Lyle.

As per Dee's wishes, her life will be celebrated by her closest friends and family and her cremains will be taken to Lubec, Maine.
