IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diane K
Lins
April 30, 1952 – October 13, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Diane K. Lins, who left us on October 13, 2024, at the age of 72. Diane was born April 30, 1952 to the late Don and Imelda (Marklein) Lins. She was passionate about travel, exploring new cultures and landscapes that enriched her spirit. Her career took her to Amsterdam for three wonderful years while working for American Girl, a journey that left her with cherished memories and a broadened worldview.
Diane's love for gardening and working in her yard was evident to all who knew her. Her garden was a reflection of her vibrant personality, filled with blooms that brought joy to her home and neighborhood. After retiring, she turned her creativity into a small woodworking business, crafting beautiful pieces that showcased her talents.
Above all, Diane was an incredible mother to her three children—Michael, Brandon, and Deena. She was their unwavering supporter, never missing a game or activity, always cheering them on from the sidelines. Her love, joy and pride extended to her four grandchildren—Connor, Brooks, Emma, Carter and a great grandson, Brody.
Diane will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, adventure, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her and her children; Michael (Karin Oleson and her children) his sons, Connor (Jenna) and Brooks Leister (Ava); daughter, Deena (Ryan Suchomel and his children) her children, Emma (Jordan) and Carter; great grandson, Brody Leister; her siblings, Duane (Bonnie), Dave (Diane Patterson), Darrell (Vicki), Tim (Joleen), Karen (Martin) Ganser, and Julie Keith. Diane is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her son, Brandon.
A visitation for Diane will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City and on Friday morning from 10:30 am until 11:15 am with a graveside committal service to follow in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Sauk City.
Diane's family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to her neighbors for the support and friendship they provided Diane over the years.
