Diane J. Tenley Diane J. Tenley, 91, of Sauk City passed away on July 23, 2025. She was born on October 18, 1933, in Fond du Lac, WI, to the late Harry G. and Esther L. (Pade) Peters. Diane married James E. Tenley on June 8, 1957, at Church of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac, WI. Diane was a 1952 graduate of Fond du Lac High School, a 1955 graduate of the St. Agnes School of Nursing in Fond du Lac, and a 1987 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Diane had a long and rewarding career in nursing and health care management before retiring from Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh in 1998. After retiring Diane and James lived in Wautoma, WI; Osceola, WI; and Prairie du Sac, WI.

Diane is survived by daughter Karen (Robert) Goerlinger of Marinette, WI; son Thomas (Angela) Tenley of Middleton, WI; son-in-law Thomas Nelson of Centerville, MN; seven grandchildren, Megan Goerlinger, Karl (Alyssa) Goerlinger, Joshua Nelson, Lukas Nelson, Samantha Valentine, Seth Valentine, and Ethan Tenley; and two great granddaughters, Kennedy and Maisey Goerlinger.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James, a daughter, Kris Nelson, a sister, Harriet Peters, and a brother, Harry C. Peters.

A private family memorial gathering is planned.
