Dolores Odelia "Lolly" Frey, age 89, died Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City, Wisconsin.  She was born in Roxbury on September 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Werner and Florentina (Werla) Wipperfurth.  She was united in marriage to Bernard "Dick" Frey on February 6, 1952 at St. Norbert Church in Roxbury.

She enjoyed raising her children at home and also worked as a teacher's aid and was part of the kitchen staff for Sauk Prairie Schools.  She also was the bookkeeper for her husband's auto repair business.  Dolores always looked forward to attending family events and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Bernard; children, Bev (Keith) Foye, Jane Salava (husband Ross Marion), Dennis (Renee), and Rick (Laurie Wagman);grandchildren Jessica (Brad) Duffrin, Jamie (Kurt) Caldwell, Michael (Brittney), Mathew (Victoria Gallup), Rhiana (Mike) Stowell, Andrew (Heather) Jaczynski, Amanda (Jason) Hutson; and great-grandchildren, Kailey, Dawson, Caitlyn, Blayze, Kash, Harper, Christopher, Xavier, Sadie, Kane and Brewer; siblings, Joe (Nancy) Wipperfurth, Raymond, Helen (Ronald) Meinholz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Arthur, Robert, Sylvester, Alvin, Jerome, Leo, and a sister Patricia Swingle; two infant siblings, Norbert and Darlene and a great-grandson Rayce Raschka.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 20 ^th at St. Aloysius Church, Sauk City, Wisconsin.  Burial will follow the mass at the St. Aloysius Cemetery.  There will be a celebration of life at the Dorf Haus in Roxbury following the burial.

Masks are encouraged.  We realize many of you may not be comfortable attending because of Covid exposure risk.  We completely understand.

Dolores's family would like to thank Kevin Klingenmeyer R.N. and the Agrace Hospice Staff and Maplewood Nursing Home staff for their wonderful care of Dolores.  Special thanks also to grandchildren Jessica, Rhiana and Amanda for their generous amount of time spent with their grandma.
