Donald "Don" Michael Stressler, passed away on August 14th 2025 at William S. Middleton VA hospital in Madison Wisconsin at the age of 66 after bravely facing complications from cancer.

He was born May 29th 1959 in Evanston Illinois.  Don was son of Darlene who survives him, and the late Donald P. Stressler.  Don was preceded in death by his wife Christine.

He is survived by his sons, Paul (Emma) and Donald; sisters, Debra (Ralph), Denise (Matt) and brothers, Daniel (Anne); the late Dave (Julie) and Paul. He is further survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Don's life was marked by hard work, a passion for the outdoors, and a knack for fixing anything with wheels or an engine. After graduating high school Don answered the call to serve his country, proudly joining the army and being stationed in Germany. Returning home he found his calling as a skilled marine mechanic and rehabbing homes. He loved his family and always was available to help whoever was in need.  He will be missed.

A Celebration of Don's Life will be held on August 31st 2025 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Tuckaway Campground,  E9648 Tuckaway Dr., North Freedom, WI 53951
