Donald Wayne Stuart, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at his home. He was born August 12, 1949 in Portsmouth, VA. He was a lifelong native of St. Augustine, FL and recently moved to Prairie du Sac in 2012. Following High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and served during Vietnam. Donald spent many years driving truck and operating heavy equipment. He enjoyed playing cards, NASCAR Racing, and making people laugh.

He is survived by his mother, Pat Stuart of Palm City, FL; two sisters, Connie (Buddy) Bailes of Palm City, FL and Jean Schneider of Hastings, FL; five children, Stephanie (Randy) Ewing of Prairie du Sac, WI, Dona Stuart of Raleigh, NC, Donald (Elizabeth) Stuart Jr of Garner, NC, Delina (Mike) King of Oxford, NC and David (Susan) Stuart of Louisburg, NC; eight grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Stuart and his brother, Richard Stuart.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Military Honors will be performed by Lachmund-Cramer VFW Post 7694 at 7:00pm. A memorial service will be held in St. Augustine, FL at a later date.
