Donna (Niederklopfer) Barton, age 73 of Baraboo, WI passed away peacefully on June 10th, 2025, at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI surrounded by loved ones.

Donna was born December 27th, 1951, in Baraboo, WI. to the late Donovan and Thelma (Pauley) Niederklopfer. She grew up in Sauk Prairie WI and graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 1970.  She went on to earn an associate degree in accounting.

She worked at Spring Window and Almet before working at Turner's BP for almost 30 years. She was an avid reader and loved her animals. She loved making a trip up the road to HoChunk.

Donna is survived by her husband, Curt. Her two daughters Brenda (Troy) Kruchten, Tina (Katlyn) Haley and stepson Christopher, her shopping companion. Her two grandsons, Kyle (MaKenzie) Kruchten and Hunter, and one great grandson, Easton. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph, Richard, Michael and Stanley (Chauntel) and one sister Rita (Bruce) Crary. Also, by many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donovan and Thelma, infant sister, Mary, brother, Arnold, nephew Adam, sisters-in-law, Betty and Robin.

Donna's family would like to thank the kind staff at UW Hospital for her care.

A visitation for Donna will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City.  Interment will follow the visitation at the Sauk City Cemetery.
