Donna Marie Meicher, age 82, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at HospiceCare in Madison, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Madison, December 23, 1930 to the late Englebert and Minnie (Bollig) Faust. Donna married James L. "Roy" Meicher, on April 14, 1951. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2004. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, trips to the casino, card club, and socializing with friends.


She is survived by her children, Nancy (James) Warner of Prairie du Sac, Diane (Randall) Roelke of Loganville and Jeffrey "Pike" (Cricket) Meicher of Merrimac; six grandchildren, Heather (Shaun) Meicher, Travis (Courtney) Beuthin, Chad (Danielle) Roelke, Skyler (Karen) Roelke, Justin Reynolds and Justina Stickler; 11 great-grandchildren; and a special friend,Dorothy Faust.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus and a daughter in-law, GiGi Meicher.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held in the church cemetery at a later date.
