Donna Jean Nachreiner, age 84, of Sauk City passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie.  She was born at home in Spring Green on Oct. 26, 1940 to the late Adrian and Verna (Richardson) Julson.  She grew up in Spring Green and Plain. Donna was united in marriage to Lester Nachreiner on Dec. 28, 1957; he preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 2021.

She is survived by children, Barb Anderson, Brenda and John (Dawn) Nachreiner; grandchildren, Jessica (Nick) Werner, Aaron (Jenny) Haas, Michelle (Mark) Colstad; great grandchildren, Ethan, Ella and Emery Yanke, McKenzie, Meghan and Marshall Colstad and Savanna and Ellie Haas; half-brother, Doug Gorder.  She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, and husband Lester; she was preceded in death by daughter and son-in-law Rita (Dean) Haas; grandson Nicholas Anderson; great grandson Zander Haas; and siblings, Lila Laufenburg and Adrian "Bud" Julson.

As per Donna's wishes, no service will be held; a private interment will be held in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Sauk City.

Donna's family would like to acknowledge Maplewood Nursing Home, the Pines and Agrace Hospice for their care of Donna.
