Donna Lu Schultz, 86, went home to be with her Lord and loved ones, whom she had been longing to see on the late afternoon hour of Friday, May 7, 2021. She was born in Hyde, June 27, 1934 to the late Ralph and Hazel (Johnson) Barsness. Donna was very dedicated to and proud of her husband James "Lyle" and family as well as many friends, relatives and friends of her children and grandchildren who often visited and never left hungry. Donna is well remembered for rocking her grandchildren and great grandchildren and tickling their backs as they fell asleep.

She is survived by her 5 children James, Joey, Joel, Julie and Jonathan (Sheila) Schultz, 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law and many family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, in-laws Otto and Olive Schultz, 2 infant children, 3 sisters and their spouses Shirley (Bill) Aeschlimann, Lois (Eddie) Brunner, Betty (Marvin) Rue, 1 brother, Marlin Barsness, 3 sisters-in-law and 4 brothers-in-law Carol (Earnest) Kahl, Eugene Schultz, Betty (Robert) Sutcliffe and Jack (Ila) Schultz.

Due to COVID and some restrictions still in place, there will be private burial with immediate family.
